Do you need access to my WordPress website?

Usually, yes. I will normally need temporary administrator access to investigate the problem and make agreed changes. I will confirm what access is required before any work begins.

What kinds of WordPress problems can you help with?

I can help with common WordPress and Elementor problems, plugins, updates, forms, menus, redirects, caching, performance and everyday website improvements. If something falls outside the type of work I take on, I will tell you before we proceed.

How much does WordPress help cost?

WordPress help is charged at £75 for up to 60 minutes. I will agree the problem and scope with you first. If the work is likely to take longer, I will let you know before starting and can quote separately where appropriate.

Can you guarantee the problem will be fixed within an hour?

No. Some problems can be resolved quickly, while others need more investigation or involve third-party plugins, hosting or other systems. The important thing is that I will not continue into additional chargeable work without discussing it with you first.

Will you make a backup before changing anything?

Where changes carry a meaningful risk, I will check that an appropriate backup or recovery option is available before proceeding. The exact approach will depend on the website, hosting setup and work being carried out.

Can you help if my website is completely broken or offline?

Possibly. I can investigate many normal WordPress problems, but major server failures, malware incidents, hacked websites or specialist recovery work may need your hosting provider or a dedicated security specialist. I will tell you if the problem is outside my scope.

Do I need to sign up for ongoing support?

No. WordPress Help is available as a standalone service with no ongoing commitment. If you need help again later, you can simply get back in touch.

Can you work on WooCommerce or larger WordPress websites?

It depends on the issue. I can help with many normal WordPress tasks on larger or WooCommerce websites, but complex ecommerce development, custom functionality or larger technical projects may need a separate scope and quote.
