FOCUSED PRACTICAL IMPROVEMENTS
Make useful changes without rebuilding your website
We agree the priorities before the session, then work through the changes that will make the biggest practical difference to your existing website. The aim is to improve what you already have, not replace it unnecessarily.
- An agreed list of improvements before work begins
- Hands-on changes made directly to your existing website
- Focus on the jobs most worth completing first
- Clear explanation of what has been changed
- Recommendations for anything that needs further work
- No pressure to rebuild or sign up for ongoing support
HOW IT WORKS
Simple, focused improvement sessions
We agree what you want to improve before any work begins, so the session stays focused and you know exactly what is being worked on.
1
Send me your list
Tell me what you would like changed and send over your website address. Screenshots or examples are useful if something is difficult to explain.
2
I review the work
I check the requested changes, confirm what is realistic and flag anything that may need separate work or specialist input.
3
We agree the priorities
We decide what to tackle first, confirm the scope and make sure you know the expected cost before I begin.
4
I make the improvements
I work through the agreed tasks, test the changes and explain what has been completed, along with anything that still needs attention.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about Website Improvement Sessions, what can be included, access, pricing and how the work is scoped.
What can I include in a Website Improvement Session?
You can use the session for an agreed list of practical website changes such as layout improvements, forms, menus, redirects, performance, cookie consent, tracking, usability and general website housekeeping.
How much can you complete in two hours?
It depends on the complexity of the tasks. Several small changes can often be grouped into one session, while larger or more technical jobs may need additional time. I will review your list first and set realistic expectations.
Do you need access to my WordPress website?
Usually, yes. I may also need access to relevant services such as your cookie consent platform, analytics account or hosting, depending on the work agreed. I will confirm what is needed before starting.
What happens if the work will take longer than two hours?
I will let you know before the session begins where possible. If additional work becomes apparent during the session, I will discuss it with you before carrying out any extra chargeable work.
Can you help with cookie consent and GDPR?
I can help with the technical website side of cookie consent and privacy, including CMP setup, consent banners, script blocking, analytics and tracking behaviour. This is practical implementation support rather than legal advice.
Can you redesign my whole website during a session?
No. Improvement Sessions are intended for focused changes to an existing website rather than full redesigns or rebuilds. If the work is significantly larger, it would need a separate scope and quote.
Do I need to know exactly what needs changing?
Not necessarily. If you have a general list of things that bother you, I can help turn that into sensible priorities. If you are unsure what is wrong with the website as a whole, the Website MOT may be a better starting point.
Do I need to sign up for ongoing support?
No. Website Improvement Sessions are standalone, with no ongoing contract or commitment. You can book further help later if you need it.
Ready to improve your website?
Send me your website address and a short list of the changes you would like to make. I’ll review them and let you know whether an Improvement Session is the right fit.
